Through the eyes of the bride to be:
We hadn’t had a photo shoot in a long time. So when Jenny asked me if I wanted to have one I was really excited. I was even more excited when I finally convinced Matthew to go after begging him for a week.
The boys had decided to go to The University of Toledo to take the photos. This turned out to be an amazing choice because the campus looked beautiful! The trees had blossoms on them, the weather was nice just a little chilly, and there were hardly any people there. We started taking pictures of the girls together. Then our friends Angela and Zack took some really cute couples shots. Next were me and Matt. He was great! He was posing with me, kissing me, and just being amazing! I was so happy. We walked around to see if there were any other spots that looked good and ended up coming back to the blooming trees. Jenny and Darling took some pictures of me and then had Matt come in for some photos of us together. Jenny has us walking in front of the tree and pretending like we were dancing. Next thing I knew Matt was stopping me.
When I turned around and saw his face I was in shock. He said to me “Megan I love you so much. And I am going to love you the rest my life. Will you love me the rest of your life and do me the honor of marrying me?”
I was in shock! I started crying immediately! I couldn’t even hear what he was saying. I have never been so happy or excited in my entire life!!! I repeated yes over and over. I could not stop kissing him! He took the ring out of the box to place on my finger. It was stunning!!! The most beautiful ring I had ever seen! I didn’t see it coming at all. Jenny cleaned my face and gave me a big hug! She continued taking some photos of us and I was beaming!
We finished the shoot and headed back to Jenny’s house. I couldn’t believe this was really happening. I could not stop staring at the stunning ring that was now on my finger! As soon as we arrived back to Jenny’s I called my parents. Again I started crying! My parents were thrilled! They knew Matthew was asking me and they were waiting for my call! I called Matthews mom. I could not wait to tell her she was going to be my mom! I continued calling family and friends. I could not wait to tell the world that I am the future Mrs. Megan Hinkle!
